Die gemeinsame Tagung der Gesellschaft für Medien in den Wissenschaften e.V. und der Fachgruppe Bildungstechnologien der Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. steht im Jahr 2019 unter dem Tagungsmotto Teilhabe an Bildung und Wissenschaft. Diese umfasst den Abbau von Zugangshürden, die partizipative Entwicklung von Inhalten oder die Förderung aktiver Teilnahme durch adaptive und personalisierbare Medien. The goal of the workshop is to give participants basic training in technologies that will allow them to build their own laboratory equipment, repair/calibrate existing ones and change their relation to the tools they use everyday in the laboratory.
This will be done using a project based learning approach where participants will build a FlyPi - an open source all in one biology lab that can be used for microscopy (optical and fluorescent), optogenetics, thermogenetics and behavioural tracking.Find out more »

Open Education Policy Forum will this year take the form of a six-month policy incubation process, initiated by a two-day in-person workshop and ending during Open Education Week 2020.
